Please note that the course will need a minimum enrolment of 5 students to run, we will notify you and issue refunds if this number isn’t reached.

Please note that all of our instructor-led courses have a limit on the number of pieces you can complete. You may finish up to seven projects, using a maximum of 3 lb of clay for each.

TYPICAL CURRICULUM

Week 1: Learn different hand-building techniques or work on Projects 1 and 2, depending on skill level.
Week 2: Learn to throw (“throw and throw away”) and complete Projects 1 and 2, or begin Projects 3 and 4, depending on skill level.
Week 3: Learn trimming techniques and trim your projects. Additional throwing or hand-building practice and project work.
Week 4: Additional throwing or hand-building practice and project work.
Week 5: Trim remaining projects and glaze or underglaze pieces that are ready.
Week 6: Final glazing and finishing.
